THE FIRM

The original firm of Leslie Nagy & Co Chartered Accountants was formed by the principal of Leslie Nagy & Associates Certified Practising Accountants in 1980. The firm underwent several changes in partners and offices before becoming Leslie Nagy & Associates and being relocated to Castle Hill in Sydney in 1992.

THE PRINCIPAL

Les Nagy the founder and principal of Leslie Nagy & Associates CPA’s was awarded a Bachelor of Economics from Sydney University in 1975.

From 1975 through to 1979 Les was employed by a number of larger chartered accounting firms including the firms now known as Ernst & Young, Howarth & Howarth and Bird Cameron. As a consequence of this employment and further professional studies Les was admitted as an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia in 1978.

Other professional qualifications that Les has attained include being admitted as:

An associated member of the Australian Society of Accountants (now CPA Australia) in 1978,
A Registered Tax Agent in 1978,
A Registered Company Auditor in 1980 and
A Member of the NTAA in 2005.

THE STAFF

Currently Leslie Nagy & Associates employs four CPA’s, a university graduate and three administrative and support staff.

The CPA’s have from three to thirty years experience in professional accounting and business advising.

The firm and it’s staff are dedicated to professionalism, continuing professional development and in providing excellent service to clients.
